These ogden newborn pictures are especially near and dear to my heart because this sweet baby boy is my nephew! It also means that while you just see cute newborn pictures with a cute family in their cute home, I see a whole lot more because I know their story. Here, let me share a few with you.
Fixer Upper
My brave sister and brother-in-law bought this true 1897 fixer upper about two years ago. The only things it had going for it were a new HVAC system and roof. Beyond walls it didn’t have much, no sheetrock, no floors, carpet you wouldn’t want to walk on, and no kitchen. Over the past two years they’ve transformed that empty shell into this beautiful ogden house, just in time to bring their baby boy home.
Right around the time we took these newborn pictures they started thinking about selling and moving on to their next chapter, I love that these pictures will forever remind them of this little house they made a home together.
How to hold a baby
You’ll also see a lot of pictures where they’re holding baby W across his tummy real tight, it probably looks a little awkward, who holds a baby like that? Well when your baby has really bad colic, you do. The first month of this little boy’s life has seen many hours being held just like this to help his tummy settle after each feeding. It’s been a hard season of life, one they’ll probably be eager to move on from. But years from now when they look back at these pictures they’ll remember those endless with hours with smiles and arms aching to hold their little boy close again.
