I love the colors this family chose to wear their Provo Orchard family pictures, you really can’t go wrong with neutral shades of blue. I always recommend that my clients coordinate their outfits and not match. If you’ve ever wondered what that means this is a great example! Dad and the boys aren’t wearing the same patterned collared shirts. Mom and daughter aren’t wearing the same dress. They all have their own look perfectly suited to them but coordinated the colors and style for cohesion.
The Provo Orchard is one of my favorite places to shoot. It’s part of the Utah State Hospital campus so the $20 location fee also gives you access to the Provo Castle and a little pond up above the castle (if there aren’t other events). It can be a busy spot for everything from bridals to prom pictures but there is plenty of room so you don’t have to worry about it being too crowded, though you may catch a deer or two photo bombing your shot!
