The Best Beef Stew Recipe | From Grandma Dalton

The Best Beef Stew Recipe | From Grandma Dalton

Do you know that home cooked meal feeling? Its warm and fuzzy and makes you feel so loved and comfortable all at the same time. That is the feeling this best beef stew recipe will bring to your dinner table.

This is my Grandma Dalton’s recipe that she made for my mom and my mom made for me, and now I make it for my family. It was a favorite Halloween dinner recipe because we all loved it (meaning we’d actually eat dinner and therefore be allowed to eat some Halloween candy later), and it warms you up on a cold autumn night (which Halloween’s always were in Utah).

I love to make it because its super simple meaning there aren’t a lot of ingredients and it doesn’t take more than 45 minutes.

Recipe Tip

Here’s a little tip, when you brown your meat be ready to add the water as soon as you can’t see anymore red meat, it probably wont be cooked through yet but it’s more tender if it finishes cooking while everything else boils.

I hope you enjoy and find a fun, yummy, simple recipe to add to your recipe repertoire.
