I grew up with this family so these extended family pictures were extra fun to capture. We were a little worried about the little boys cooperating, especially if they had to take a long car ride, so we opted for the beautifully landscaped driveway of a neighbor. The location couldn’t have worked out better and just goes to show that great photo locations can be found almost anywhere, so get creative!

Not all photographers will do extended family pictures because the large numbers and huge age differences present specific challenges. I personally come from a family of 10 so large numbers don’t intimidate me. That’s why my family session pricing is the way it is. It’s $285 for up to 10 people and +$15 for each additional person. I settled on 10 because it drove me CRAZY when the “family” price only covered 6 people in my family, and sometimes less. My clients never have to worry – no matter the size of your family I’ve got you covered, ALL of you!
