Do you have a location with lots of Saguaros? YES! YES! YES! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Usery Mountain Regional Park is my GO-TO for that classic Arizona Desert look for Family Pictures.
With miles and miles of trails, you could literally park your car anywhere and you’d be in a perfect place for Arizona desert family pictures. This specific spot is the Merkle Trail, we parked in area 6 and took a short walk down the path to this perfect desert vista!

As a reminder, Usery Mountain Regional Park is a 30-ish minute drive from Power & Guadeloupe in Gilbert (my home base) and has a $7/vehicle entrance fee.
What to wear for fall family pictures
In Arizona, it can be hard to know what season your in just by looking at a picture. This can be a major plus if you want to keep things ambiguous, but what if you want your pictures to feel Fall? Answer. With what you wear!
I love the jewel tones Danielle chose for her family because they give that fall feeling. Mustard yellow, navy blue, and burgundy are some of my fall favorites! They even threw in a little olive green with baby’s bow and I think it adds the perfect pop of green!
