A few months ago Matt and I took a hard look at ou A few months ago Matt and I took a hard look at our life and made the very difficult decision to pump the brakes on my photography business. Since that time I’ve done almost nothing to promote my business. So imagine my surprise when the inquiries picked up in June and are continuing flow in for July. I’ve been stunned and grateful. Then, this morning I woke up and Matt asked me to schedule him a dentist appointment. Guys, he HATES the dentist... if he’s asking to go I know it must be bad. Sure enough, he’s currently getting a root canal. Do you know how expensive a root canal is? And, as we’re living the grad school life, we don’t have dental insurance. But, it turns out, a root canal costs about as much as 2 months of unexpected photography clients. Some might say it’s a coincidence, or I’m just reaping the rewards of all my hard work before I decided to take a break. I’ve sung these words so many times but today they sunk in. Who, who can understand?
