Saturday, April 1 - 15 minutes - 10 edited images - Up to 6 people - wardrobe consultation & access to my client closet on site - At this beautiful olive grove in Gilbert, AZ There are only 6 spots available! Still she’s a cute excuse.Our sweet Adi made her way into this world this last week and we couldn’t be more smitten. I’ll share her full birth story eventually but for now enjoy this quick pic I grabbed of her today and a few sneak peeks from our amazing doula/photographer susan.joy.az (and cheyenne.photog who stepped up to help!) August Dump 2023Toys everywhere. All. The. Time. Sink baths required after every meal because you’re independent… and it’s messy. No routine. Our life revolves largely around what you need. You missed “nap time” but you’re ready now so life stops while I lay you down. I try to work, you’re immediately there, pulling, tugging, wondering what mom is doing. The house isn’t dirty… but it’s never entirely clean either. So much to do… we never get to all of it. I forgot what this season was like. 5 years is a big gap… I don’t remember until we’re in the thick of it but then so many familiar feelings… overwhelm, inadequate. But there’s also so much laughter. New milestones every day. And a growing sisterly bond. This is a season. One chapter. We’re in the middle of it and on the days it feels hard, I remind myself…it won’t last forever. And on the days that feel like golden sunshine, I remind myself… it won’t last forever. There’s beauty and purpose here. With Emi, I’d grab my camera to help me see, and I find myself doing it again with Adi. To see the beauty. The purpose. And to be a little more present in each magical moment.
