Why You Need A Motherhood Session | San Tan Valley Photographer

Motherhood is a journey filled with love, sacrifices, and boundless joy. In the whirlwind of daily routines and responsibilities, it’s essential for mamas to take a moment to celebrate yourself and the beautiful bond you share with your kids. One wonderful way to do this is by booking a motherhood photo session for just you and your babies. If you need more convincing, here are three reasons why you need a motherhood photo session:

1. Celebrate Your Role as a Mother

Motherhood is a role like no other, and it deserves to be celebrated. As mothers, we often find ourselves behind the camera, capturing precious moments of our children’s lives while rarely stepping into the frame ourselves. A motherhood photo session is an opportunity to turn the spotlight on you and honor the incredible journey you’ve embarked upon. Embrace the chance to showcase your love, strength, and unique connection with your children. These images will become treasured keepsakes, immortalizing the profound impact you’ve had on your children’s lives.

2. A Visual Reminder of Your Love

As the years pass by and our children grow, it’s easy to forget the small, everyday moments that make up the tapestry of motherhood. A motherhood photo session captures these heartfelt interactions, freezing them in time for you and your children to revisit whenever you desire. The genuine smiles, the laughter, the tender embraces – all serve as visual reminders of the deep love you share with your kids. These images not only affirm the affectionate bond between mother and child but also build a legacy that can be passed down through generations.

3. Cherish the Current Season of Motherhood

Motherhood is an ever-changing journey with its ups and downs. Some days are easy and blissful, while others may seem chaotic and challenging. Embracing a motherhood photo session during this present season allows you to cherish the raw and authentic moments that make up your everyday life. While you may yearn for the days when your children were tiny, or look forward to a time when they’ll be more independent, capturing the essence of the here and now is a way to embrace the beauty of your current season of motherhood, no matter how hard or chaotic it may seem.

Do it for you, Do it for them

A motherhood photo session is more than just a collection of pictures; it’s a celebration of you as a mother, a testament of the unconditional love you have for your children, and a way to cherish the unique phase of motherhood you find yourself in. So, mamas, take a moment to treat yourself to this beautiful experience. Celebrate your role as a mother, capture the love between you and your kids, and embrace the beauty of the present. You deserve it, and your children will thank you for these cherished memories in the years to come.

Fun side note!

This is my beautiful and very talented friend Kayla of Truly Photography in Utah. She was my first mentor and has been a huge supporter and friend both personally and professionally.

The morning of this session I woke up early and happened to glance at my phone and saw that I had a message from her. She was flying in to Arizona for a session and wanted to ge together. I was so excited to see her!

After talking we decided to throw a session together so she could see more of my beautiful state and we could shoot together.

HUGE thank you to my sister-in-law for agreeing to be our model with her brand new baby. It was so much fun and I love the images we were able to capture. You can see Kayla’s images from this same session on her blog here and here.
