Lost Dutchman Family Pictures | Extended Family Photographer
Lost Dutchman State Park is one of Arizona’s premium locations for family pictures, and with rock formations like that its no surprise! But there are a few things you should know before you plan your session in front of these iconic cliffs.
- The best time for a session at Lost Dutchman is SUNRISE. The sun rises directly over these cliffs so if you wait til sunset and want the cliffs in the background you’d be squinting into the sun. There are still other beautiful places within the park to take pictures at sunset but if you want the cliffs it’s gotta be sunrise.
- There is a $50 photography fee for shooting in the park and a $10 per car entry fee. The Lost Dutchman rock formations are Copyrighted so they can charge a premium for people to shoot here. Totally worth it in my opinion!
